Firstly - a parasol accompanies you the whole day long. It protects you during the day from the sun's harsh rays and in the evening it keeps the warmth for the group around the table for quite a long time. One has the choice of opting for a classic middle-mast parasol or a swivel canopy with a side pole. Please contact us for detailed information on these two variants.

All, with the exception of Loom. That is to say, not just teak furniture which thanks to its high content of rubber is so resistant to water, heat and frost. The most comprehensively resistant furniture is that of aluminium which is naturally totally weatherproof and can remain outdoors all the year round. The same goes for all furniture made of stainless steel in all material combinations. Please note: teak requires no protective coating, but twice a year teak furniture should be cleaned with warm soapy water and a stiff natural brush to rid it of dust and accumulated dirt. Protection from such dirt is offered by our furniture covers.

On the day of delivery, your furniture will be set up at the desired location, individual parts that need to be assembled will be put together and the packing material will be taken away. Simply, no. Teak which remains outdoors does not have to be treated. Oiling the wood is simply a matter of taste and has nothing to do with protecting the wood. Oiling the wood makes it darker and demands regular treatment. Only wood which is not exposed to the elements should be oiled, as rain washes the oil away and streaks it. Should you wish to oil your teak furniture please follow the care instructions which you will find on our website under Service: "Material & Care".

The patina will already begin to form in the course of the first year. The speed at which it develops is dependent on the weather. A dry summer means not much will occur, rainy weather develops the patina. It also depends on where the furniture is situated. If wind and sun quickly dry off the furniture, then it will not develop as quickly as when it is in a damper location.

Over long periods rain or water used in cleaning can deposit dirt in the joints. Oiling the joints with synthetic oil, e.g. sewing machine oil, renders the joints free and easy to move again. We would be delighted to send you such oil upon request. Simply use a few drops on the joints and moving parts of the furniture. Afterwards position yourself behind the chair and grasp the front of the seat and draw it closed. This action is easy on the back.
