It is advisable to use a flange if the parasol is to be permanently positioned and the ground not deep enough for a ground socket (ground depth min. 50 cm) or if there is not enough room for a parasol stand. As the flange must be fixed into an appropriately solid underground, installation should be carried out only professionally.
