The impressive length of the Tavo dining table at 180 centimetres can, if required, be effortlessly extended by another metre. The natural grain of the American walnut – a composition of nature unique to each table – varies in the extension; however, a continuous, uniform grain is available as a custom-made option. All edges of the solid piece are hand-sanded. The recesses for the butterfly mechanism are pleasantly lined with leather. Rails and ball bearings are sturdily crafted from aluminium and stainless steel.
With just a few simple steps, the Tavo dining table can be extended by one metre.
- When the tabletop is pulled back, the extension is lifted up with a twist.
- The two wings of the extension unfold smoothly. Then push both tabletops together until they lock into place.
