Inspired by Bauhaus: the Bolero cantilever chairs are a weatherproof homage to the timeless classics of the past. Tried and tested for years, they enhance outdoor spaces with supple support and pampering comfort.
Confidently at home in every urban and garden landscape
The cantilever chair transports the unmistakeable Bauhaus aesthetic outside, directly to the sunny side of the house. Whoever takes a seat here enjoys plenty of legroom and a feeling of floating without losing contact with the ground. With its intrinsically classic design, modern know-how and meticulous craftsmanship, it attains utmost perfection. Everything enhances comfort: the teak wood slats for the seat and backrest are fastidiously designed, the tubular frame, made of brushed stainless steel, resiliently withstands enormous stress.
Inspired by the predecessors of the cantilever chair, Marcel Breuer developed an icon of the Bauhaus tradition.
The designer explained that with the use of metal, it was possible for him to project his drafts into contemporary spaces. His chair, made of steel tubing and without back legs, made furniture history. Garpa combines the linear construction with the natural features of teak wood. Each individual slat is three-dimensionally shaped and contoured to the body, which is what makes the cantilever so unexpectedly comfortable. Bolero provides ample space for all at the dinner party, and furthermore, is effortlessly stacked – as space-saving as it is perfect in form.
Style icon in best form
With simple contours, modern expertise, and meticulous craftsmanship, Bolero attains the highest level of perfection. Ergonomically shaped teak slats form the basis, while the resilient strength of the classic stainless steel frame ensures gentle relaxation. Companion pieces in the same unmistakable design complete the collection.
