Shadow Plays

Umbria filters the sunlight with its generous span and reduces the heat of the day to comfortable degrees. The canopy of impregnated polyacrylic fibre is fastened to the ribs by brown leather caps, and is removable for cleaning. The pole, ribs, and finial are of varnished wood. A double pulley makes opening effortless and guides the slider smoothly up the pole.
